I then decided to display them in a frame to be hung on a wall in a gallery.
- I have tried to keep them both looking fairly simillar becuase I think that this hilights the negative one more. For example the pink kisses wich are in contrast to the black crosses
- I think that these had both worked well and are effective
- I think that the colours have worked well as I have kept the possitive one all pastle coloured and yummy and in contrast I have made the negative one with strong harsh colours that represent blood anger hate harrm and portray a sence of neglegtion with the tea stained effect
- I decided to use found objects on this piece like Jim Dine does in some of his work. I think that this gives it interesting textures and a jewel like quality
- I have stitched a trophy onto this one to celebrate teenaged mums
- Here I have stitched a big cross across the baby grow. I think this is extremely effective as it looks like a big scar. I have used pink stitching to show old scars and then the bright red to show new scars. The black adds depth to it and looks like surgeons thread trying to sew the scars back together but they are sewn on loosely wich suggests the scars are unsealable
